Unlike most other people, I am not a fan of the Yamaha P85 or the Yamaha P95. In fact, I am not a fan of any Yamaha that is under $999.99. You might be wondering why. Well, that’s because the most important factor in a digital piano is the feel of the keys. The Yamaha keys are too light until you get to the Yamaha P-155 or the Yamaha CP33 for $999.99.

I won’t go into detail about the specific models. Instead, I’ll talk about the GHS action keyboard and the GH action keyboard. The GHS action keyboard is what Yamaha puts into their cheaper digital pianos. You can say that they are installed onto the entry-level ones. On the other hand, the GH action keyboard is put into the more advanced digital pianos. What’s the difference? The weight.

Many of you are probably thinking, “Can the weights of the keys really make that big of a difference?” Yes, they most definitely can. In fact, the keys are the most important factor. Without properly weighted keys, you will start to have bad habits that will be hard to break out of. In addition, how you play the piano depends so much on expression and the “feel” of the piano. Not having properly weighted keys can ruin all that.

The GH action keyboard is much too light. I will never consider buying one or telling my students to get one. Pay the extra money and get the GH action keyboard. It’s just so much better.

Rap is a genre that I am not a fan of. The lyrics are unoriginal, it takes less talent than singing, and the lyrics are all about killing people, doing drugs and abusing women. Although I am not a big fan of rap at all, I do like to listen to the rap instrumentals when I am working out. For some reason, the instrumentals really get me in the mood to work out. It is a good change of pace when it comes to what I usually listen to on my Ipod while I work out. I usually listen to something like hard rock, so listening to a song without words and a good hard beat is just as good for me. I feel that getting a good playlist of songs for your workout is important. It is a good way to motivate yourself to power through what is left of your workout.

An E minor chord is made the same way an E major is made.

The only difference when you are making the open chord is you do not press on the first fret of the G string. Instead you just put your first finger on the A string of the second fret and use your second finger on the second fret of the D string.

This is a great way to learn how to play well. You can become a fluent guitar player if you learn from teachers, or jamorama guitar lessons, or even on your own. It takes a lot of time to become a great player and be able to play some impressive pieces on the guitar.

It is not about how fast you can play as it is the feeling you give and how crisp your rhythm is when you play. Just master the basics like chords and scales and then move onto to songs and what not.

“Somewhere in Time” is the title of an old romantic movie starring Clark Kent who is also the original actor behind Superman. Unfortunately, he met an accident and was paralyzed so he had to relinquish his role as Superman.

Anyway, “Somewhere in Time” is a classic as far as I’m concerned. I love its theme song whose title is the same as the title of the movie. It’s one of the first full songs that I really strived to learn when I was young.

I really wanted to learn how to play piano just so I could play “Somewhere in Time” on the piano. I mastered it quickly and memorized the piece. I remember that I would play it with gusto every time and I really felt each note and enjoyed playing it. I was too young to know the meaning of the song but despite that, I really loved how it sounded.
