I’m an art major student in the University of California. It wasn’t my first choice but I started liking it. I’ve been designing and decorating houses for friends and relatives. And it was during the summer of 2008 when I was asked by my friend’s boss to do a little change in the interior part of his new put up restaurant. Of course, I didn’t waste any more time and started forming my ideas so, I could execute them the soonest possible. Choosing the right fabric structure that will go well with the chairs and benches are my top priorities second to wall papers and the blinds. For me, texture is very important and the layers of materials that is being used. I’ve decided to play with colors white and baby pink to match the atmosphere of total relaxation and comfort of young generations. With the chairs, I went for a solid color baby pink, while for the wall paper I settled for a pink and white floral design and lastly with the blinds I’ve chosen a plain white shade with a white flowers embossed to it. Having done all the designing and renovating I realized that being an art student isn’t that bad after all.
